Hunter to Hunted

Nurture

When the trust account is high, communication is easy, instant and effective
— Stephen R. Covey

Nurturing is about capturing attention early on in the buyer's journey and building your relationship with them well before they are ready to become a paying client.

By being generous with insightful and helpful content, they will start to see you as a high-value authority, not just another business trying to get something from them. So when they are ready to buy, choosing to work with you becomes a no-brainer… AND you'll be able to charge what you’re worth.

Remember you are playing the long game - not looking for immediate sales. You're building relationships, establishing trust, and positioning yourself as the obvious choice when someone needs what you offer.

Focus on one specific problem

Go deep - Instead of trying to solve everything, focus on one specific issue with your content. When you solve one problem brilliantly, clients will trust you to solve others.

At Saga, our content is based around helping businesses create and build their brand, but we also provide a heap of back-end solutions that extend on from the initial branding focus.

Choose your platform

You don't need to be everywhere. In fact, you shouldn't be everywhere. Unless you have a dedicated marketing team (and if you do, you probably don't need us), spreading yourself thinly because you have platform FOMO is a bad idea.

Pick the ONE platform where your ideal clients actually spend their time. This could be LinkedIn (this is where Saga is), Instagram, a specific industry forum, or your own newsletter.

Quality beats quantity every single time. Identify where your ideal clients consume content and start showing up there. Remember: go deep and consistency is king.

It’s action time!

Create three pieces of helpful content

We’re not talking fancy, over-produced pieces and they can be graphics, video or writing... whatever works for what you are trying to say. Provide real, practical insights that actually help your audience move the needle. Think tutorials, breakdowns, case studies, or quick strategy guides (like this one) that provide immediate value. Once done, share them on your chosen platform. Don’t be afraid to give your knowledge away, someone will always need professional help and if you have already demonstrated value and expertise, they’ll be willing to pay good money for it.

A few pointers:

  • Solve a specific problem

  • Make it easy to understand

  • Provide actionable solutions

  • Be confident but humble (i.e. don't be an arrogant douchebag)
